| The curriculum demands the students to undertake practical training during summer vacation at the end of each year. This enables the students to apply their knowledge and skills in a professional setting outside the classroom. |

| Annual Seminars |

| LVEC organized the Engineering Meet 2005 on 2005. The Meet highlights the need to empower the young and dynamic engineers with cutting edge technological skills.
The speakers at the Meet represented the best from the corporate world. The students of the Institute worked hard to make the Engineering Meet 2005 a resounding success. It gave them a glimpse and first hand knowledge of the working of the corporate world. It is an experience for many of them to have interacted with the best minds in the industry. |

| Industrial Visit |

| The students visited various organizations in Delhi, Bangalore, Trivandrum to understand the policies, procedures and functions of the industry. Some of the organizations the students visited are ISRO, etc. |

| Guest Lecture |

| Special attention is given to the current affairs in Technical sense, so that the students can greatly benefit from it. Guest Lectures are also arranged regularly to keep the students abreast with the demands of time. |
